When we met, Beatrice and Guido were renovating a turn-of-the-century farmhouse in the beautiful Auvergne region, in the heart of the Massif Central. They were making it their rural holiday home, with a radical overhaul that nevertheless preserved the allure of the traditional architecture typical of the area.
Beatrice and Guido love design and they like searching for furniture and decorations for their homes in their spare time. However, they needed the help of a professional to organise the large, open and still completely empty space on the ground floor in the best possible way.
I suggested my Prêt-à-porter solution and developed two possible layouts for the space, together with 2D plans.
Beatrice and Guido chose a few ideas from each option, so the end result was a combination of the two solutions.
For each area, I created inspirational moods for the choice of furniture, lighting and furnishings, taking into account the best size and position for each piece.
The couple loved the style ideas, which offered an overall (and detailed) vision of the furniture and accessories in the space. All that remained for Beatrice and Guido was to have fun searching for items in the antique markets they love so much!
